🐦‍⬛8.24 Luhu: First Workshop on Anti-Bird-Strike Public Art Practice with A4 Art Museum

Today we kicked off the first anti-bird-strike public art workshop with A4 Art Museum.

Mr. Sha, head of Longmenshan Raptor Monitoring Station, gave us a sharp overview of migratory birds in Chengdu and explained why bird strikes happen. I introduced the flyer my team created and showed how to use it. Professor Liu Yi then led everyone to design stickers that help prevent bird strikes.

The project “Everything is a Little Bird” was full of energy and the results were super fun and cute. We expect these sticker designs to be included in the official collection of the museum or even placed in public parks.

Big thanks to A4 Art Museum for the strong support. More upgrades are coming and we might organize a group visit to the museum and parks later.

We want everyone to follow the “Action Guide” we handed out. If you missed the workshop but want a copy, you can pick it up at cocomat.

And yes… finally…a pat on the back for bringing all these partners together for one mission 😭
