🐼🐦4.26 Wildlife Tech Lab: Conducting Survey for National Park on their Opening Day

Xiling Snow Mountain, part of Giant Panda National Park (specifically the section open to the public as a scenic area), just reopened today after a wild winter ski season. Outside of winter, business drops significantly—so now they’re turning to birdwatching and nature tours to attract more tourists. The area management team has to find a way to pay for those pricey cable cars. They brought in our lab to conduct a bird survey, hoping our report will provide records they can use in their ads to promote the area as a birding hotspot. We didn’t expect it to still be snowing… it’s almost May.
