🐼🐦4.27 Wildlife Tech Lab: How do we tell whose Footprint It is?

Day two in the mountains. Tracking again. For mammals, we identify them by looking at the distance between their three toes. The one we found today was pretty wide—most likely a tufted deer. Next to it were chicken tracks; chicken prints are easy to recognize. In the snow, most likely a blood pheasant. We saw it with our own eyes, too.

Tufted Deer (The footprints aren’t rly fresh though)
