🐼6.5 Panda Base SE: Designing/Hosting the World Environment Day Event

June 5, 2025. Panda Museum plaza—packed, buzzing, full of life. Another week of design + events. Busy, but the public engagement was worth it.

For World Environment Day, we rolled out fresh interactive games. Flashcards broke down the Ten Green Codes—trash sorting, low-carbon travel, the basics. People were surprised at how simple green living really is. Everyday moves, big impact.

Then came the Checkpoint challenges. The crowd shouted out their wins:
“I nailed rule 4!”
“I’ve got 2, 3, 4 locked!”
“How many grams of carbon does bus travel save?”

Everyone carried eco quest cards, scoring panda stickers and the rare Panda Guardian Badge.

And the hidden prize of the day? Eco Coasters. Bring your own bottle? Nice. Recycle plastic? Even better. We slipped them the special coaster.
