🦅5.18 Raptor Station: The Sky Exploded— 1,170 Birds in One Hour

For days, the skies were empty. No raptors. Nothing. We started to wonder if migration’s already over… Everyone’s been super bored at the station these days lol… Compared to last year, the numbers were way down. But today’s the day! Boom… In just one hour, 1,170 birds flew over. Absolutely insane. What a comeback. (i guess the season’s ending in two days though, and we’re going to welcome the tedious 5 am BBS season 😭）
