🐼 5.22 Panda Base SE: Design & Hosting of International Day for Biological Diversity Events

May 22 is International Day for Biological Diversity. The theme this year: “Harmony with Nature and Sustainable Development.”
May 24–31 is the 25th National Science and Technology Week. The theme: “Determined to Innovate, Building a Strong Nation in Science and Technology.”

From May 20–22, 2025, Chengdu Panda Base hosted a special science education event: “Amazing Creatures in Sichuan”

As part of the science education outreach team, we designed interactive activities. One was a guessing game: we gave the public species descriptions, hid the animal under a cover, and asked them to read the handbook and guess. Another was a floor-based dice game: roll, land on a question, answer correctly to move forward.

For both activities, participants won rewards. Engagement was high, and the public loved it.
