We asked the cleaning staff to monitor bird corpses for only two days. In that short time, two residential complexes reported collisions and three dead birds. This is not even migration season.

The main cause is clear. Large glass surfaces reflect trees and greenery. Birds mistake the reflections for real habitat and fly straight into the glass.

This situation pushed our art museum collaboration in a new direction. After the first open workshop in Chengdu, we can roll out a DIY program for bird strike stickers. These will be targeted at specific complexes. We will also help residents apply them directly on buildings where collisions occur.
