🪺7.20 CBBS: Initial Data Compilation Completed

The weather is insanely hot and I really don’t feel like going outside. The BBS survey has wrapped up with 80 sample plots completed. As a member of the data team (tho i rly do everything dirty work for different teams), I stayed indoors to organize the initial statistics. What a workhorse lol.

We deployed 824 sample points this yr. With the addition of several mountain plots compared to previous yrs, the total bird species count finally edged up to over 180.

Now I just hope the number does not drop too much during the upcoming review.
